About the role
- Plan and develop customer turf and ornamental plans, including fertilizer, seed, disease, pest, and water management program portfolios.
- Responsible to the Turf & Ornamental Sales Manager.
- Expand customer’s trust to be the agronomic business partner of choice.
- Integrate and position proprietary products into customer business plans.
- Recognize and communicate company finance programs when applicable.
- Keep confidential customer information, accurate records, and organized business plans.
- Make safety a daily priority.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in Turf, Ornamental, Plant Health Care, Chemicals and Fertilizer.
- 2 or 4 year degree in related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in Turf and Ornamental or a combination of education and work experience.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to work additional hours to meet business demands.
- Proficient use of computer programs to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
