Oversee efficient, compliant payroll operations while maintaining comprehensive process documentation
Approve payroll processing, resolving issues for on-time delivery
Align payroll operations with business strategy
Ensure adherence to U.S. and Canadian payroll, tax, and employment regulations
Oversee general ledger reconciliations and payroll internal and external audits
Lead year-end payroll activities, including statutory filings
Deliver high-quality service to employees and stakeholders
Build strong partnerships with U.S. and Canadian HR and business leaders
Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

10+ years of payroll experience with a current payroll certification
Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll tax and wage and hour regulations; Canadian experience is an asset
Strong experience with large ERP payroll systems and reporting platforms
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools
Demonstrated leadership in coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing payroll teams
Proven ability to design, standardize, and optimize processes in complex, fast-paced, shared-services or global environments
Strong project, time, and stakeholder management capabilities
High level of professional integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
Self-directed leader with the ability to work independently while driving alignment across functions.
