About the role
- Manage a queue of requisitions to create Purchase Orders for branch locations
- Obtain and communicate release numbers from vendors to ordering locations
- Confirm and enter accurate pricing on orders provided by procurement leaders and Division Managers
- Monitor and communicate any inconsistencies in transfer pricing and discounts
- Reconciles open purchase order report
- Investigate Invoice, PO, and Receiver discrepancies and make necessary corrections
- Maintain communication with locations and vendors to resolve issues
- Follow contract maintenance procedures
- Consignment ordering and tracking
- Proficient in pricing nuances across the region
- Perform various other duties as assigned
Requirements
- BS/BA degree preferred but not required
- 1 - 2 years of practical experience preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes
