About the role
- Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations
- Track the production losses and maintenance cost of assets and find ways to reduce those losses or high costs
- Assure that the Management of Change (MOC) system is followed to capture all changes made to plant processes or equipment
- Assist in the sitewide Predictive Maintenance program which includes vibration monitoring lubrication and oil analysis
- Improve the reliability centered maintenance (RCM) program for equipment
- Participate in and conduct incident investigations using the RCA process
- Act as liaison with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering, coordinating the work of internal personnel when necessary, and controlling costs
- Identify potential for cost reduction through extended parts life, reduced labor cost, and other part-related improvement techniques
- Perform Safety Contacts and Safety Audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
- 2+ years professional experience in Reliability Engineering and Predictive Maintenance Technologies within heavy industry
