About the role
- Provide oversight of all environmental programs
- Provide oversight of onsite laboratory and lab personnel
- Provide technical support to management in areas of environmental and emergency response
- Develop and implement strategic plans and audits routinely
- Represent Nutrien in its relationship with regulatory agencies
- Directly manages the air discipline of the environmental fields
- Responsible for assisting with plant wide environmental technical and compliance programs
- Assist with management and communication, interaction and or negotiation with regulatory agencies
- Plans schedule and establishes short- and long-term environmental strategies and goals
- Maintain environmental files for required permits, abatement activity, consultants’ reports
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
- 10 years specialized experience in industrial manufacturing industry
- Specific training in Environmental Compliance
- B. S. Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline preferred
- 5 to 10 years Environmental Compliance in industrial manufacturing environment
