About the role
- Design and implement cloud architecture solutions for the Numerix Platform that meet business requirements.
- Lead the development and deployment of cloud-based applications and services.
- Contribute to the implementation of the core Cloud Platform services.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategy and roadmap.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineering teams.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and tools.
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance and costs.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud trends and best practices.
- Manage a team of cloud engineers to design and implement the Numerix SaaS Control Plane.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
- Proven experience with AWS services and tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and storage.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Proven ability to code in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Eastern Time Zone working hours required or preference for Eastern Time Zone candidates.
- If commutable to mid-Manhattan headquarters, expected to work from office minimum 3x per week.
