About the role

  • Provide strategic direction and operational oversight to Regional Vice Presidents of Sales
  • Direct the Leisure Sales and National Group Sales teams
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key external partners and organizations
  • Engage with major customers and group accounts
  • Work closely with the business development team
  • Mentor and support sales leaders and teams by providing coaching, resources, and professional development opportunities
  • Monitor key performance indicators, analyze sales data, and implement action plans to achieve targets

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the hotel or hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead, and develop sales teams; exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Deep understanding of independent hotel sales dynamics, market trends, and distribution channels
  • Experience with leisure and group sales highly desirable
  • Confident experience in owner engagement and communication
  • Adept in Delphi, PowerBI, TravelClick, Cvent and other similar/relevant tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with sales technology platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools relevant to the hospitality industry
