About the role
- Provide strategic direction and operational oversight to Regional Vice Presidents of Sales
- Direct the Leisure Sales and National Group Sales teams
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key external partners and organizations
- Engage with major customers and group accounts
- Work closely with the business development team
- Mentor and support sales leaders and teams by providing coaching, resources, and professional development opportunities
- Monitor key performance indicators, analyze sales data, and implement action plans to achieve targets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in the hotel or hospitality industry
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead, and develop sales teams; exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and organizational skills
- Deep understanding of independent hotel sales dynamics, market trends, and distribution channels
- Experience with leisure and group sales highly desirable
- Confident experience in owner engagement and communication
- Adept in Delphi, PowerBI, TravelClick, Cvent and other similar/relevant tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with sales technology platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools relevant to the hospitality industry
