About the role

  • Lives by the NuHarbor corporate values: Help Clients Win, Always Improve, Protect the House
  • Performs engineering tasks required to sustain existing Managed Services clients.
  • Performs engineering tasks to support the onboarding of new Managed Services clients.
  • Performs and analyzes daily health checks on existing Managed Services clients.
  • Develops content in support of Manages Services clients.
  • Performs troubleshooting of client environments.
  • Document and create content to further build upon NuHarbor’s internal knowledgebase.
  • Regularly meet with clients to drive forward engineering objectives.
  • Maintains industry and vendor certifications required to support the Managed Services catalog.
  • Required to participate in 24x7 rotation.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Engineering Leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • In lieu of a degree, two (2) years of experience in a related technology field and relevant industry certifications are required.
  • Two (2) or more years in the Information Technology field.
  • Experience with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Enterprise Security, and/or Splunk Cloud.
  • Strong Linux and Windows proficiency.
  • Ability to understand and troubleshoot issues with Windows and Linux systems.
  • Ability to interact and manage the Linux system via CLI.
  • Strong understanding of basic security concepts and controls and how they relate to IT networks.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts.
  • Ability to troubleshoot interconnected systems.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States.
