About the role
- Ensure the success of the team by SAFELY performing maintenance, programming, and upgrade tasks on Level II software systems

Requirements
- Fundamental control theory knowledge
- 2+ years’ experience in industrial controls role or similar
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and scheduled and unscheduled overtime
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, Nucor Steel Brandenburg will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future.
- Industrial process automation communications experience (i.e. Ethernet IP, Profinet, Profibus, etc.)
- Knowledge of languages and/or technologies including C#, .NET, SQL, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, machine learning
- Can contribute and function at multiple levels of the Purdue Reference Model for enterprise control
- Can design or build advanced optimization, simulation, and automation systems within a manufacturing environment
