About the role
- Promote and sustain our culture of safety and environmental stewardship
- Interacting with the team to lead development, growth, and improvement of NSSED's Environmental programs
- Compliance administration/responsibility with all regulatory permits, licenses, rules, regulations, and programs
- Taking a lead role in plant-wide Environmental project management, sustainability efforts, training, and audits
- Community outreach
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of applicable experience
- Committed to working safely and promoting safety, health, and environmental stewardship
- Superb organization and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with teammates at all organizational levels
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to analyze and think strategically
- Demonstrated ability and desire to manage and prioritize multiple projects successfully
- Highly motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
