Requirements
- The ability and desire to work safely and provide guidance for an accident-free workplace
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and two years of relevant work experience, or five years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- Proficient in modeling, assembly, and detailing with SolidWorks, Inventor, or another 3D CAD software
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including materials, mechanics, and manufacturing processes
- Experience identifying deficiencies in mechanical processes and developing improvements (preferred)
- Successfully led full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture, and implement) (preferred)
- Experience with machine design using electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components (preferred)
- Experience in melting/casting operations, and/or rolling mill operations (preferred)
- Familiarity with Process Automation and Control technologies (preferred)
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to travel up to 10%
