Key responsibilities & impact

Lead global, fast-paced publications teams in thrombolytics and respiratory
Partner with senior global clients on high-impact publications, publications strategy, and some medical affairs
Develop accurate, high-quality scientific content across the workstream
Serve as senior scientific leader of an established team
Partner with scientific and CS leads to streamline processes and manage resourcing
Mentor and review work to enable high-quality delivery
Develop content across diverse publications deliverables
Oversee, support, and motivate a global team of medical writers
Build strong client and author relationships and provide strategy-driven suggestions
Lead client and author calls and scientific meetings
Work with agency leadership on account growth and innovation of client offerings
Serve as a partner and trusted advisor to clients
Report to the VP, Scientific Services
Line manage junior members of the medical writing team
Travel for client meetings and events as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience leading global publications teams in thrombolytics and respiratory
Ability to partner with senior global clients on high-impact publications and publications strategy
Experience developing accurate, high-quality scientific content
Senior scientific leadership experience
Ability to partner with scientific and CS leads to streamline processes, manage resourcing, mentor and review work, enable high-quality delivery, and grow the business
Experience developing content across diverse publications deliverables
Experience overseeing, supporting, and motivating a global team of medical writers
Ability to develop strong client and author relationships
Ability to lead client and author calls and scientific meetings
Growth mindset and ability to work with agency leadership on account growth and innovative client offerings
Lytics/respiratory experience is an advantage, but not required
Willingness to travel for client meetings and events
