About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage scientific team responsible for delivery of a full range of strategic publication focus
- Under the guidance of the scientific VP, lead and manage account to ensure the creation of high quality, accurate medical / scientific content with ability to expand management responsibilities as team grows
- Develop and grow commercial work partnering with VPs of scientific and client services and managing directors
- Identify and develop strategic and tactical business recommendations relevant to client strategy and marketplace needs
- Develop / lead / facilitate key strategy workshops
- Demonstrate a high level of comfort articulating scientific and therapeutic information in lung cancer
- Foster innovation and collaboration across Nucleus to position agency as leader in publication work
Requirements
What you’ll need- PhD, PharmD, MD with 10+ years of experience of relevant medical communications experience, with an in-depth understanding of publication oncology work
- Track record of successful scientific leadership across several clients/therapeutic categories
- US launch experience required; Global experience is a plus
- Some travel will be required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing staff / direct reports (potentially based across multiple locations)
