About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor infrastructure, applications, networks and IT services using monitoring tools.
  • Identify, log, categorize and route incidents to the responsible teams.
  • Execute standard operating procedures (runbooks) for initial handling of alerts and events.
  • Perform basic analysis of logs, metrics and performance indicators.
  • Follow up on critical incidents, engaging support teams according to escalation matrices.
  • Prepare operational communications regarding outages, degradations and service restorations.
  • Monitor production changes to ensure impacted services are observed.
  • Record operational evidence and keep monitoring documentation up to date.
  • Work shifts when applicable, ensuring operational coverage of monitored environments.
  • Support the generation of operational reports and availability, incident and event metrics.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring processes and incident management.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of computer networks and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Ability to identify, analyze and record technology incidents and events.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, observability or event management tools.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with technical teams and reporting incidents.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Analytical, organized and detail-oriented profile.
  • Interest in technology, automation and market trends.
  • Availability to work in an on-call/shift rotation when required.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or similar) to support analysis, documentation and operational productivity.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Kibana or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL, Incident Management and Event Management.
  • Experience or internship in a Network Operations Center (NOC), Command Center, Service Desk or Technical Support.
  • Basic automation skills using PowerShell, Shell Script or Python.
  • Experience with Cloud environments (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira or similar.
  • Basic skills in data analysis and dashboard creation.
  • Experience using AI for event analysis, information correlation, documentation generation and optimization of operational processes.
  • Technical English for reading documentation and event analysis.
  • Certifications or courses in Cloud, ITIL, Observability, AI or Automation.
  • Experience in high-availability (24x7) critical environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, Power Automate and Microsoft Copilot.
  • Interest in AIOps practices, operational automation and continuous improvement.
