About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create and execute test automation scripts, identifying and prioritizing tests that can be automated;
Perform manual testing when necessary;
Assist in selecting the most appropriate tools and frameworks for automation according to the system/technology in use;
Participate in squad ceremonies, assessing the testing effort for prioritized tasks;
Identify functional and non-functional requirements, defining the necessary types of tests;
Share knowledge with other testers on the team.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or higher.
Experience with Kanban and Scrum methodologies;
Writing test scenarios using BDD-style formats;
Java programming for automating tests for web applications, messaging systems, APIs, and files (positional and XML);
SQL databases;
Knowledge of AWS;
Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines;
GitHub and source code versioning;
Application log analysis;
Experience with test lifecycle and defect-tracking tools;
Experience with Jira and Confluence or other agile management tools.
