About the role

  • Lead the execution of projects across all PMBOK knowledge areas – Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Communications, Risks, People, Procurement, Stakeholders and Integration – following the PMO’s established methodology to ensure successful deliveries and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Perform project initiation activities, organizing kickoff meetings, reviewing lessons learned, aligning roles and responsibilities, and formalizing initial agreements in the project charter with a focus on team mobilization and clarity of objectives. Ensure products meet regulatory requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee accuracy and timeliness of regulatory submissions.
  • Support leaders in project planning, requirements gathering, defining acceptance criteria, detailing scope, aligning responsibilities and authorities, decision-making, drafting the project plan, building the schedule, organizing the execution kickoff and aligning mandatory artifacts to ensure efficient and effective execution.
  • Monitor and control projects by tracking deliverables, measuring performance, communicating and aligning changes, updating schedules, and preparing status reports based on collected information. Ensure identification and correction of deviations according to plan and trigger escalation processes when necessary.
  • Execute project closure activities by verifying deliverables and outstanding items, requesting necessary approvals/acceptances, conducting lessons learned meetings, and updating documents for formal closure, ensuring established objectives are met.
  • Mobilize and engage internal and external project teams, promoting actions that secure the required involvement to achieve expected results.
  • Produce reports using reports and support tools to ensure alignment of information across teams and governance bodies.
  • Participate in inspections and audits by regulatory authorities when required.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Preferred: Postgraduate degree or specialization in Project Management.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, applying these practices in planning, tracking and organizing deliverables.
  • Experience in regulatory projects, working with legal requirements, compliance and liaising with technical teams to ensure regulatory obligations are met.
  • Ability to create and maintain schedules using MS Project, including defining dependencies, milestones and conducting impact analysis.
  • Experience with Jira for demand management, sprint tracking and organizing epics and stories, ensuring visibility and traceability of deliverables.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis, PowerPoint for executive presentations and Word for formal documentation.
  • Previous experience in financial services organizations.
