About the role

  • Monitor and analyze changes in the legal and regulatory environment, assessing impacts on the business and strategic objectives.
  • Continuously track laws, regulations, market information, bills, public consultations, and related developments.
  • Work collaboratively with risk, process and internal control teams, supporting business areas in managing regulatory risks.
  • Interface with regulators (CVM and the Central Bank of Brazil), including inspections, meetings, submission of information and regulatory controls.
  • Manage and monitor regulatory workflows, ensuring deadlines, recordkeeping and compliance.
  • Prepare and support the development of reports, regulatory filings, presentations and management indicators for the area.
  • Contribute to analyses of financial market products from regulatory, risk and integrity perspectives.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and technical development within the team.

Requirements

  • University degree in Law and/or Business Administration
  • Postgraduate degree in Compliance, Risk Management or related fields preferred
  • Experience and knowledge in corporate/business law, corporate governance and mergers & acquisitions (M&A)
  • Experience in interacting with regulators, especially the CVM and the Central Bank of Brazil (e.g., inspections, regulator meetings, information submissions, regulatory controls)
  • Knowledge of Compliance topics, including ethics hotline, LGPD (Brazilian data protection law), contracts and vendor due diligence
  • Experience working with regulator systems, organizational hierarchy and structure
  • Knowledge of financial market products (capital markets, institutional investor products, retail products, tokenization, etc.) to support Compliance activities
  • Understanding of business operations, projects and various requests to produce well-founded opinions
  • Generalist experience in Project Management, Internal Controls, Risk Management, Integrity and Compliance (regulatory interpretation and issuing opinions; ethics and conduct; consultative role)
  • Strong knowledge of the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) regulations
  • Knowledge of CVM and ANBIMA rules and self-regulatory standards
  • Experience with ethics hotline, contract management, LGPD, vendor due diligence and other compliance practices.
