About the role
- Provide support and troubleshooting for Cisco datacenter network infrastructure equipment (Switches, Routers, and Firewalls).
- Develop or execute technical procedures during scheduled or emergency maintenance windows (upgrades and configuration changes).
- Participate in incident handling and problem resolution.
- Interact with or escalate tickets to manufacturers when necessary.
- Document procedures, changes, and incidents clearly and in an organized manner.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical network support.
- Solid knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, routers, and firewalls (operation, configuration, and troubleshooting).
- Experience operating BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLAN, HSRP, etc.
- Technical English (Writing/Reading/Conversation).
- Proactive, analytical profile with a results-oriented mindset.
- Cisco CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Datacenter certification.
