About the role
- Develop and implement a comprehensive People & Culture (P&C) strategy for the DACH region aligned with global P&C strategy, business objectives, and long-term growth ambitions
- Lead and manage a team of P&C professionals across the DACH region to ensure smooth operations and deliver strategic outcomes
- Collaborate closely with regional and global Centers of Excellence (CoEs)
- Oversee, standardize, and optimize local P&C processes across the DACH region
- Ensure compliance with local and global policies and standards, applicable labor laws, and collective agreements
- Co-design competitive benefits programs to attract and retain top talent
- Benchmark compensation and benefits to maintain market competitiveness
- Own the P&C budget for the DACH region: develop budgets in alignment with global CoEs and prepare regular forecasts
- Partner with regional and global CoEs to transition local HR systems into the target IT landscape
- Co-design and implement performance evaluation measures that drive strategic execution
- Provide training and guidance to managers to build engaged, high-performing teams
- Support DACH leadership in building a values-based culture, promoting inclusion, and improving the employee experience at all levels
- Partner with regional and global CoEs to attract, develop, and retain top talent
- Ensure succession planning for key roles across the region
- Align key drivers to position NTT DATA as a top employer across DACH and promote the employee value proposition
- Manage engagements with employee representatives and works councils, ensuring effective communication and positive outcomes
- Act as a trusted advisor to country leadership teams and local management on P&C matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s or MBA) in HR or a related discipline is highly desirable
- Proven experience as a P&C Director or equivalent, ideally within a global IT services company and matrix organization
- Demonstrated success in leading teams through complex transformations
- Strong proficiency with P&C systems and technologies
- Experience managing diverse teams of specialists and generalists
- Deep expertise in P&C best practices, trends, and strategic execution
- Strong understanding of industry dynamics and business drivers
- Proven capability in workforce planning, talent acquisition, development, and retention
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and compliance across the DACH region
- Experience engaging with employee representatives and works councils
- Proficiency in organisational design, culture shaping, and change management
- Skilled in leveraging P&C technology and data analytics
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities
- Ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organization
- Resilience and adaptability in navigating change
- Experience in outsourcing and M&A environments
