About the role

  • The Sr Director of Commissioning is responsible for owning the global standard Commissioning Process document and program.
  • Enables regional Commissioning Managers to implement the standard and be a resource for regional Commissioning Managers.
  • Regularly reviews regional portfolio level construction progress, commissioning progress, issues, and KPI metrics and assists where necessary to deliver business results.
  • Refines practices/policies and develops methods/techniques for driving solutions for commissioning procedures.
  • Occasional on-site presence with travel globally as needed to assist teams implementing the standard or projects that need additional support.

Requirements

  • Degree required – technical degree, electrical engineering preferred.
  • 10 or more years in a data center environment managing projects/operations including 5 years Data Center commissioning experience.
  • Data Center construction project management.
  • Experience leading large DC builds of 250MW+.
  • Very strong experience in Data Center facility maintenance, operation and/or commissioning.
  • Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Test Equipment.
