About the role

  • Implement backlog items in accordance with defined project quality standards
  • Actively support user story refinement together with Business Analysts and the Scrum Team
  • Take responsibility for estimations, code reviews, documentation, and presentation of results
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Quarkus preferred) and Python
  • Work with AWS services such as S3, EC2, Load Balancing, and DynamoDB
  • Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Apply unit testing and code quality standards to ensure robust and reliable solutions
  • Balance development, bug fixing, and refinement activities to achieve Zero Defects, Zero Spillover, and Zero Pull
  • Participate in operational duties as Agent on Duty and Agent on Call
  • Handle operational tickets within contractual SLAs (mandatory)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of architecture, quality standards, and team performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Informatics or similar field of study, or equivalent working experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, especially S3, EC2, Load Balancing, and DynamoDB
  • Solid backend development skills in Java (Quarkus preferred) and Python
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
  • Strong understanding of non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, maintainability)
  • Experience with unit testing and code quality best practices
  • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to raise and address technical challenges
  • High level of self-organization, ownership, and continuous learning attitude
  • Willingness to participate in operational duties and on-call rotations under strict SLAs
