About the role
- Provide support and troubleshooting for Cisco datacenter network infrastructure equipment (switches, routers, and firewalls)
- Prepare or execute technical procedures during scheduled or emergency maintenance windows (upgrades and configuration changes)
- Respond to incidents and resolve issues
- Interact with or escalate tickets to manufacturers/vendors
- Document procedures, changes, and incidents clearly and in an organized manner
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in network technical support
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches, routers, and firewalls (operation, configuration, and troubleshooting)
- Experience operating BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, HSRP, and other related protocols
- Technical English (writing/reading/conversational)
- Proactive, analytical, and results-oriented
- Cisco CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Data Center certification (preferred)
