• Travel extensively to various company facilities, supply chain partners, and high-risk regions to ensure direct oversight and engagement in food safety practices
• Conduct regular on-site inspections and audits, providing hands-on leadership and support to local teams

VP of Quality – Food Safety

Procurement

• PO management: Place, update and follow up on POs accordingly
• Meet frequently with the Sourcing & Purchasing team to analyze the position and smooth over any discrepancies
• Coordinate deliveries according to information received
• Run MRP on a weekly cadence, working collaboratively to ensure all materials are ordered.
• Ensure all partners have the necessary documentation for productions and compliance.
• Solicit and evaluate freight bids to secure the most cost-effective and reliable transportation options.
• Coordinate logistics for shipments as needed, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Manage relationships with freight carriers to ensure high service levels and address any issues that arise.
• Work closely with the operations and procurement teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
• Provide regular updates on purchasing and logistics activities internally
• Address and resolve any issues related to documentation internally and externally with our partners.

Purchasing and Logistics Specialist

Operations

• Manages key customer inquiries in a timely fashion
• Organizes customer setup, documentation preparation, new item forms creation, and reporting in the ERP system
• Confirms order receptions, sends ETA to customer/distribution centers, and follows through on fulfillment
• Liaises interdepartmentally to ensure timely and complete shipment of orders, from purchase order reception to assistance with invoice creation and review
• Resolves order discrepancies via coordination with customers, sales, operations, and accounting
• Coordinates transportation of finished goods optimizing routes and carriers to reduce delivery times and control costs
• Handles customer inquiries, concerns, and any inbound communications in a clear, professional, and concise manner
• Achieves productivity standards and goals while maintaining the highest level of customer service
• Engages in process improvement creates new standard operating procedures

Customer Operations Manager

• Lead sourcing and trading strategies for key commodities, ensuring cost-competitive and reliable supply.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while applying a rigorous, tough-minded approach to negotiation.
• Monitor global market trends, commodity pricing, and risk factors to inform buying decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align sourcing strategies with company goals and customer requirements.
• Manage supplier performance, contracts, and compliance to ensure the highest quality and sustainability standards.
• Expand NSI’s global sourcing footprint, identifying new opportunities and mitigating supply risks.
• Travel extensively to various supply chain partners, trade shows and high-risk regions.

Director of Sourcing, Commodities

Manager

• Facilitate cross-functional teams to launch new products through critical checkpoints via supportive and positive business partner interactions.
• Drive end-to-end product launches ensuring all deliverables are completed on-time and within budget.
• Provide direction and general project management including scope, schedule and resource planning.
• Determine complexity level of new product/project initiatives and proactively engage the right cross-functional skills required to develop a successful commercialization plan.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to promote commercialization processes within Sales, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, Quality and Operations.
• Analyze projects, identify risk and manage all resources efficiently.
• Identify issues in functional processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvements, then implement.
• Maintain and provide training on the product development process and project management tools.
• Maintain and continually update and manage stakeholders on the status of projects, decision points, successes and learnings.
• Proactively uses ERP for Bill of Material creation and new developments on items.

Commercialization Manager

Business Operations

• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, ensuring organizational priorities and initiatives are executed effectively
• Lead the IT function, manage team performance, and oversee new technology/tool roadmap
• Responsible for ERP/finance platforms (SAP Business One or equivalent) and integration across finance, operations, and supply chain
• Drive company-wide process optimization and operational excellence
• Manage strategic projects including AI pilots, digital tools, and process automation
• Oversee risk management, including supply chain resilience, business continuity, and cybersecurity
• Translate leadership vision into actionable roadmaps and track progress against key milestones
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on strategic goals and resource allocation
• Support change management, communication, and adoption of new systems and ways of working
• Anticipate organizational challenges and proactively develop solutions

Director of Strategic Business Operations

Accounts Payable

• Enter vendor invoices into SAP B1 with proper coding, documentation, and policy alignment
• Assist in preparing weekly payment runs, including batch creation, approval workflows, and coordination with the finance team
• Update and reconcile the daily cash report to maintain real-time cash visibility and upcoming disbursements
• Monitor and back up the AP email inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses to vendor and internal inquiries
• Serve as a point of contact for vendors, addressing payment status, invoice discrepancies, and documentation needs
• Maintain accurate and organized digital records of invoices, payments, and correspondence to meet audit and compliance standards
• Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and implement efficiencies using SAP B1 and other tools
• Report to the Director of Finance and Administration
• Hybrid work schedule with at least two days per week in-office; training in Los Angeles for first 1-2 weeks
