About the role
- This role sits at the center of the organization, providing high-impact support to the CEO, Board of Directors, and funding partners to ensure strategic priorities move forward smoothly and on time.
- You will manage complex workflows, track milestones, and coordinate planning, reporting, and communications across teams, while producing high-quality materials for Board meetings, limited partners, and external engagements.
- The role combines strong project management, executive support, and communications skills.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience in executive support, project management, operations, or a similar role in a mission-driven or fast-paced organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, track timelines, and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting briefing materials, presentations, and polished internal and external communications.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with experience managing Board materials, governance documents, and confidential information.
- Proven ability to support senior leaders (CEO/COO), including meeting preparation, note-taking, research, and follow-up on key priorities.
- Experience coordinating with Boards, funders, or external partners, including managing calendars, reporting requirements, and meeting cycles.
- High level of attention to detail and sound judgment, particularly when handling sensitive information and competing priorities.
- Comfort working cross-functionally and building effective relationships with internal teams, consultants, and external partners.
- Proficiency with common productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Asana, Zoom, etc).
