help build, stabilize, and evolve NRC Health’s production AI platform
play a hands-on role in transitioning AI capabilities from an external vendor to full internal ownership
partner with product engineering teams to enable safe, scalable, and governed AI-powered features
contribute directly to LLM-based application systems, platform reliability, and responsible AI implementation

Requirements

4 + years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems
Hands-on experience developing or supporting LLM-based systems (e.g., RAG pipelines, orchestration layers, inference services)
Familiarity with model lifecycle concepts, including evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and regression testing
Experience building scalable backend or platform systems
Experience working with AWS ecosystem
Comfort working in collaborative, cross-functional engineering environments
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on production reliability and operational excellence
