Assistant Director – Dual Enrollment
NPRCAssistant Director of Dual Enrollment coordinating dual enrollment programming and serving as liaison between various departments in Pennsylvania. Managing student engagement and ensuring compliance with academic standards.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of dual enrollment programming
- Serves as a central liaison between admissions, advising, faculty, students, and institutional departments
- Coordinates operational and academic processes related to dual enrollment
- Provides advising support, faculty and course logistics, curriculum deployment, student issue resolution, and specialized enrollment management
- Contributes to program assessment, accreditation and grant initiatives, instructional review, and student engagement efforts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with high school students and classrooms
- Effective communicator in a professional capacity with school leaders and students
- Strong organization and project management skillset
- Passion for Dual Enrollment students and programs
- Understanding of higher education practices related to the awarding of dual enrollment credits, transcription, and transfer of college credits (preferred)
- Experience assessing the effectiveness of classroom instruction (preferred)
- Experience developing, modifying, and implementing new curriculum (preferred)
- Proficiency and comfort with learning management systems as a teacher or instructor (preferred)
- Experience advising student decision-making with respect to schedules and course enrollments in alignment with their career and educational goals (preferred)
- Experience writing grants applications and/or administering awarded grants (preferred)
- Experience learning with invoicing and ordering academic supplies (preferred)
- Comfort with internal research, data collection, and analysis to support program review (preferred)
