The Admissions Counselor serves as a vital ambassador of the College, responsible for engaging and guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process.
With a strong focus on accessibility and student success, this role engages with diverse populations—including first-generation students, adult learners, and transfer students—to promote awareness of academic programs, career pathways, and support services.
The Admissions Counselor assists applicants from initial inquiry through application acceptance.
Essential functions include reviewing applications and documents for completeness and eligibility; corresponding with prospective students via direct mail, telephone, and digital channels; collaborating with directors and counselors to review applicants and issue admissions offers; providing recommendations for process optimization; staying up to date on fraudulent application procedures; maintaining accurate documentation; contributing to recruitment campaigns and yield activities; staying current on institutional offerings and transfer agreements; supporting admissions and recruiting events as needed.
Clearance requirements: PA Child Abuse History Clearance; Pennsylvania Access To Criminal History Record Check; Federal Criminal History Background Check; Training Certificate - Mandated and Permissive Reporting in Pennsylvania.
Working conditions include Hybrid location (Remote and Warren Administrative Office); typical hours 8:30 am–5:00 pm Mon–Thu and 8:30 am–4:30 pm Fri; evening and weekend hours may be required; travel infrequent.

Associate degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs
Bachelor’s degree
