About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- LINUX - Administration of Red Hat, SUSE, Debian and Ubuntu distributions
- Cluster configuration and troubleshooting
- Performance analysis, patching, repository management and version upgrades
- Management of disks, volumes and file systems
- Monitoring with Zabbix
- Development and maintenance of Shell scripts, with knowledge of Python and Perl
- Advanced troubleshooting and log analysis
- Network configuration, boot management and administration of printing systems
- Management of physical and virtual servers and Linux environments in the cloud
- Automation with Ansible and implementation of security practices and credential management
- Operational administration of webservers and middleware
- Tomcat, Apache, WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss/WildFly, IBM MQ, IBM Connect
- ORACLE - Administration of Oracle databases in production, staging and development environments
- Support and troubleshooting for Oracle RAC and Single Instance, ensuring stability and operational continuity
- Performance monitoring and identification of issues at the instance and SQL level
- Execution and monitoring of backup and recovery routines (RMAN, Data Pump)
- Assistance in implementing high availability and Disaster Recovery strategies (Data Guard)
- Installation, patching and upgrade support
- Basic ASM administration and storage structures
- Management of tablespaces, object maintenance and growth monitoring
- Support to developers in basic query tuning
- Use of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and alerts
- Integration with monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Grafana
- Support in implementing security and audit policies
- Documentation of procedures and participation in continuous improvements
- Participation in migration and modernization projects under the supervision of senior professionals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical or university degree in IT, Networks or related fields
- Experience as an Oracle DBA with consistent work in Linux environments
- Knowledge of Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c
- Experience with Oracle RAC, RMAN, Data Guard and ASM (operational level)
- Experience with Linux in complex, high-availability environments
- Experience managing operating systems on physical, virtual and cloud servers
- Solid knowledge in administration of webservers and middleware
- Ability to develop Shell scripts
- Good communication, organizational skills and ability to work in a team
