About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and maintain Linux environments
- Create, configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Develop and maintain Jenkins Pipelines, Jenkins Seed and DSL
- Work with Jenkins Configuration as Code (CasC)
- Automate configuration and deployment processes using Ansible
- Create and maintain Ansible Playbooks, Roles and inventories
- Manage variables by environment and server groups
- Work with Docker and Docker Compose
- Participate in build and packaging processes using Maven
- Deploy and administer applications on JBoss WildFly
- Configure and administer Tomcat servers
- Work with Apache HTTP Server, reverse proxy and load balancing
- Manage WildFly server pools
- Automate build, deploy and server configuration processes
- Support the operation of development, staging and production environments
- Analyze application, pipeline and server logs and deployment processes
- Diagnose and resolve failures in builds, pipelines and deployments
- Handle secure management of credentials, tokens and environment variables
- Support deployments and maintenance of AGHUse in hospital environments and public institutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Professional experience as a DevOps engineer
- Experience with Linux environments
- Strong knowledge of Git and GitLab
- Experience with Jenkins and Jenkins Pipeline
- Knowledge of Ansible and Ansible Playbooks
- Experience with Docker and Docker Compose
- Knowledge of Maven and build processes
- Experience with JBoss WildFly
- Knowledge of Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server
- Experience automating build, deploy and environment configuration
- Knowledge of log analysis and troubleshooting in production environments
- Plus: experience with AGHUse
- Plus: experience deploying AGHUse in university hospitals or large public institutions
- Plus: knowledge of Jenkins Seed, DSL and Jenkins CasC
- Plus: experience with Ansible Roles and Ansible Galaxy
- Plus: knowledge of managing WildFly server pools
- Plus: experience with development, staging and production environments
- Plus: experience with security and management of credentials, tokens and environment variables
- Plus: experience in high-availability and mission-critical environments
- Willingness to travel
