About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain applications using Java EE / Jakarta EE
- Develop web interfaces using JSF and Facelets
- Develop and maintain entities, relationships, and queries using JPA and Hibernate
- Implement business rules using EJB and/or CDI
- Work on layered application architecture: presentation, business, and persistence layers
- Develop facades, services, DAOs, and reusable components
- Perform CRUD operations and database integrations
- Configure, package, and deploy applications on JBoss WildFly
- Use Maven for dependency management and build processes
- Work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in JSF applications
- Develop and execute unit tests with JUnit
- Perform DAO tests and validate ORM mappings
- Use Git and GitLab for version control
- Apply programming best practices, object-oriented principles, and code quality standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fields
- Professional experience with Java EE / Jakarta EE
- Strong knowledge of JSF, Facelets, JPA, and Hibernate
- Experience with EJB and/or CDI
- Knowledge of layered architecture and object-oriented design
- Experience with JBoss WildFly
- Knowledge of Maven, Git, and GitLab
- Experience with JUnit and unit testing
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Plus: experience with large-scale systems
- Plus: knowledge of software architecture and development best practices
