About the role
- Proactively research, identify, and engage target accounts within assigned territories or market segments
- Generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, and campaigns)
- Respond to inbound leads and assess fit, urgency, and buying intent
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospect challenges related to law firms and in house legal teams within corporations
- Qualify opportunities against agreed criteria and schedule meetings for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Marketing to align on messaging, campaigns, and target accounts
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity and pipeline targets
- Continuously develop knowledge of our products, value proposition, and the legal technology market
Requirements
- Entry level or 1+ years of experience in a sales development, business development, or inside sales role (B2B SaaS preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders (legal and innovation leaders)
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and consultative discovery conversations
- Highly organised with strong time-management skills
- Resilient, coachable, and motivated by achieving targets
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and sales engagement tools
- Nice to Have: Experience selling into legal or professional services markets
- Familiarity with enterprise or mid-market SaaS sales cycles
- Exposure to account-based selling (ABM)
- Interest in legal technology
