About the role
- Managing day-to-day contracted facility services, including custodial, landscaping, and non-production maintenance, while serving as the primary point of contact for vendors and internal teams
- Partnering across the site to ensure facility services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with Novonesis standards and values
- Ensuring services meet contracted scopes of work through audits, issue resolution, and continuous improvement efforts
- Coordinating facility maintenance activities, office moves, event setups, and minor repairs while managing work orders to control costs
- Leading preventive maintenance activities through the CMMS system and daily facility checklists
- Planning and coordinating small capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, installation, and project turnover
- Supporting environmental, safety, quality, and GMP requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and project partners
Requirements
- At least three years of relevant experience in a continuous processing or industrial facility, with exposure to increasing responsibility
- Working knowledge of safe work practices related to maintenance, construction, and capital project execution
- Experience supporting or executing capital investment projects while managing scope, budget, and timelines
- Proficiency with common business and project tools such as Microsoft Office, MS Project, SAP, or similar systems
- A high school diploma required; relevant technical education or professional certifications preferred.
- Strong commitment to environmental, safety, GMP, ZEAL, and quality policies, with the ability to assess impacts prior to implementing changes.
- The physical ability to work in industrial and processing environments, including climbing stairs and ladders, operating equipment, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
