About the role

  • Developing and executing key customer account plans with account team
  • Manage Distributors following Sales Channels principles and policies.
  • Collaborate with support functions like planning /Quality/Application labs/supply chain etc. to facilitate smooth operations
  • Prepares annual Budget (sales target) and coordinates with Supply chain and planning.
  • Meet account sales targets and support Industry targets
  • Develop multi-layer sales relationships within account and develop/maintain power map to understand decision power distribution
  • Engage in opportunity management in terms of assessing effort needed
  • Drive sales via opportunity wins and keep track of opportunity progress
  • Identify competitive threats at accounts and inform by register relevant information in Salesforce and follow-up on planned measures
  • Gather competitive information and register in Salesforce
  • Be the primary point of contact between the customer and Novonesis
  • Pursue business development opportunities with increased Customer Centricity
  • Always, register call or visit reports in Salesforce, timely and with specific details e.g.actions, demand plan change.
  • Responsible for negotiating contracts with distributors and key accounts to ensure the validity/renewal of them and are made in accordance with the targets and respecting the pricing policy of Novonesis.
  • Optimizing value of our technical solutions for our customers by Identifying and solving Complex technical issues.
  • Initiate plans and coordinate technical activities carried out by Novonesis, customers or partners
  • Get Internal / external lab activities done to meet customer needs in collaboration with the responsible Technical Team
  • Represent Novonesis towards customers and other stakeholders on technical and/or project issues
  • Actively reaching out within the global Technical Team and R&D community through TSM to take advantage of the global organization as a platform for better solutions.
  • Ensure that the targets “accounts receivable” (DSO) are met.
  • Provide input to training, travel and expense budget and meet it

Requirements

  • An M.Sc., B/M Tech, optional MBA
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in starch or related industry in B to B sales or marketing capacity.
  • Knowledge on enzymes is preferable.
  • Adept at analytical and communication skills.
