About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, coach and develop a highly skilled team of IT/OT and automation specialists
Create an engaged, collaborative and high-performing team culture built on trust, accountability and continuous development
Build strong partnerships with Production, Quality, Enterprise IT and Engineering to understand business priorities and deliver outstanding operational support
Provide visible leadership on the production floor, maintaining close relationships with stakeholders and identifying opportunities for improvement
Ensure the reliable operation of OT systems supporting 24/7 manufacturing activities
Manage operational priorities, resource planning and service delivery across the team
Coordinate IT/OT support for automation projects, site expansion initiatives and continuous improvement programmes
Develop strong relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective performance management
Support governance, audit readiness and compliance with enterprise IT standards and manufacturing requirements
Contribute as an active member of the site leadership team, helping shape the future direction of the IT/OT function

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience leading technical, engineering or Operational Technology teams
Experience working within manufacturing, industrial or other production environments
A good understanding of Operational Technology, including PLC and SCADA environments
The ability to engage confidently with technical specialists while translating complex issues for business stakeholders
Strong stakeholder management skills with experience partnering across Production, Quality, Engineering and IT
A coaching leadership style that develops people, builds capability and empowers technical experts
Experience managing competing priorities within a fast-paced operational environment
Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills
Professional fluency in spoken and written English.
