About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Designing, developing, and enhancing SAP BW/4HANA data models and reporting solutions.
Developing and maintaining data flows, InfoProviders, InfoObjects, ETL processes, and other BW components.
Driving performance optimisation, system enhancements, and continuous improvements across the SAP BW landscape.
Managing changes, and release activities while ensuring stable and reliable operations.
Collaborating with business stakeholders and IT colleagues to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Supporting integration with analytics and reporting platforms such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere.
Providing technical guidance, sharing knowledge, and contributing to innovation through new technologies and best practices.
Working across the full solution lifecycle—from requirement gathering and solution design to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, or a related field.
10+ years of experience working with SAP BW, SAP BI, or SAP BW/4HANA.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW/4HANA development and data modelling.
Solid ABAP development expertise within SAP BW environments.
Experience with SAP HANA modelling, performance tuning, and optimisation.
Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and/or SAP Datasphere.
Experience delivering SAP BW enhancement, implementation, and support projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with BW-IP, BEx Query Designer, planning functions, filters, sequences, and FOX formulas.
Knowledge of Business Objects 4.0 or higher (Analysis for Office).
