Global Publications Lead
Novo NordiskGlobal Publications Lead at Novo Nordisk responsible for impactful publication strategies and project management. Collaborating with external partners to ensure scientific communication.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive publication planning and execution across an asset and portfolio outlook
- Lead publication tiering and manage impactful execution and budget prioritisation across manuscripts, abstracts, encores, late-breakers, posters and review articles
- Independently structure, drive and optimise governance bodies (StC/PPG, medical teams)
- Develop and execute a bold 3-year global publication plan with clear focus on value and impact
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with top KOLs, HCPs, publishers and journal editorial offices
- Deliver internal training on Good Publication Practice, ISMPP standards and NN SOPs
- Apply advanced proficiency in iEnvision, BEAM, PROPOSE and pubs hub
Requirements
What you’ll need- A relevant master's degree as a minimum; a PhD/post-doc or combination of master's degrees is an asset
- 5+ years' experience in scientific communications (from agency, publisher, pharma or academia)
- 5+ years' project management experience; exposure to the wider pharmaceutical value chain is an asset
- Expert project management capability, with a proven ability to prioritise, risk-assess and deliver multiple complex publication projects simultaneously to high scientific and ethical standards
- Advanced stakeholder engagement, communication and diplomacy skills, with confidence to influence senior internal stakeholders, top KOLs and HCPs
- Thorough working knowledge of Good Publication Practice, ISMPP guidelines and industry systems (iEnvision, BEAM, PROPOSE, pubs hub)
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
