Key responsibilities & impact

Lead strategic portfolio projects
Development and execution of asset strategies, ensuring collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to translate scientific, clinical, and regulatory insights into tangible commercial market opportunities
Owning competitive asset Target Product Profile (TPP) development anchored in unmet patient needs and competitive positioning
Conducting market research to analyse market trends and dynamics that impact asset strategy and positioning
Ensure portfolio-wide perspective in asset development, balancing strategic fit, resource allocation, risk profile, and long-term value creation across the Diabetes portfolio
Support business cases and strategic evaluations for investment, prioritization, and resource allocation decisions
Translate complex insights into compelling narratives and decision materials for senior leadership and governance forums
Build strong partnerships across Commercial, Medical, Development, Market Access, Operations, Digital, Finance, Product Supply, and other key functions
Drive alignment among global, regional, and affiliate stakeholders on strategic priorities and project deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related discipline
2-4 years of relevant experience within management consulting, commercial asset development, new product planning or investment banking focused on asset valuation
Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives with significant business impact
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear strategic recommendations
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority in a matrix environment
Experience preparing executive-level communications, governance materials, and strategic recommendations
Fluency in written and spoken English
