About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design and development of secondary packaging solutions, including cartons, labels and corrugated materials
Optimise marketed packaging to improve usability, robustness, sustainability and total cost
Create and maintain clear, production‑ready CAD drawings, specifications and documentation
Drive root‑cause analyses and translate deviations, complaints and site feedback into preventive design improvements
Collaborate closely with production sites, suppliers and global stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Holds a Master’s degree (or above) in Design Engineering or a relevant field
Brings solid experience within secondary packaging design and development, ideally from consumer goods or other regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, medical devices, or food
Has a strong understanding of packaging from a consumer perspective, including usability, visual appeal, and functionality at the point of use
Possesses deep knowledge of paper-based materials, as well as converting and printing technologies
Is confident working with CAD tools, technical drawings and packaging specifications
Communicates fluently in English and thrives in a cross-functional, global environment
Experience with user-centred design methods, design thinking, LEAN or structured continuous improvement is considered an advantage.
