About the role
- Work closely with experienced industry professionals and gain valuable, hands-on experience
- Support projects to maintain and improve the cleaning monitoring program
- Review data from cleaning and sterilization procedures, and create charts/graphs from data
- Review historical data from cleaning and sterilization practices onsite
- Work with team to ensure changes to SOPs are in line with FDA and Novo Nordisk requirements
- Gain understanding of manufacturing equipment and utilities including skids, tanks, washers, piping systems
- Coordinate with other departments to gather feedback and schedule meetings as needed
- Review SOPs from other Novo Nordisk sites and compare to local site practices, flag potential areas for improvement
- Perform 'go look see' in sterile/cleanroom manufacturing areas when problems arise
- Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes
Requirements
- Currently attending an accredited four-year college or university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in related STEM field, engineering major preferred
- Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
- Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
