About the role
- Pioneer Novo Nordisk’s strategy for small molecule early safety assessment
- Evaluate small molecule early safety evaluation based on in vitro/in vivo toxicology screening data
- Supervise the execution of exploratory toxicology studies at CROs
- Identify and secure optimal exploratory toxicology screening plans
- Lead the Small Molecule Exploratory Toxicology Strategy Implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for drug discovery and development plans
- Provide expert advisory functions on safety matters and mentor colleagues
Requirements
- Master’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Proven industry expertise in small molecule exploratory toxicology
- Strong background with in vitro assays and in silico analysis
- Experience with predictive toxicity SAR tools (e.g. DEREK)
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Regulatory toxicology and understanding of ICH guidelines is advantageous
