About the role
- Spearhead the creation of the scientific strategy for clinical trial excellence
- Partner with Clinical Operations Therapy Area Leads and Trial Managers on scientific and medical aspects of trials
- Provide scientific inputs to trial portfolio review and site feasibility processes
- Visit clinical trial sites to discuss trial conduct and collect insights
- Engage key opinion leaders to optimize trial methodologies
- Establish a strong presence in new and current therapy areas
- Communicate Novo Nordisk pipeline to external stakeholders
- Build organisational readiness in collaboration with Therapy Area Leads
Requirements
- M.B.B.S with M.D. in any relevant discipline & strong background in clinical practice or research
- 4+ years’ experience in clinical or medical affairs strategic roles in the pharmaceutical industry
- Willingness to travel for clinical trial site visits monthly or as needed
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical drug development and value chain
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and clinical trial methodology
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to innovate, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and embrace change
