About the role

  • Involved in tasks related to PK and PKPD assessment, modelling and animal to human translation
  • Support interdisciplinary project teams across the value chain from early research through clinical development
  • Set direction and drive execution of translational PK and PK/PD screening strategy
  • Design preclinical PK and PK/PD studies, interpreting and reporting data
  • Build mathematical models and perform simulations of human PK and PD
  • Guide projects within preclinical study design, toxicity studies, and first in human clinical dose setting
  • Interact with regulatory authorities, providing input to regulatory documents
  • Solve unique and complex problems impacting business

Requirements

  • Ph.D. within Pharmaceuticals, Medical, Physics, Math or Engineering sciences, or equivalent pharmaceutical industry experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (post PhD) within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Strong understanding of PKPD and potentially also PBPK theory
  • Experience in modelling biological and/or other natural processes using mechanistic and/or a combination of mechanistic & empirical models
  • Solid experience with and understanding of pharmacokinetics and modelling software (e.g. Phoenix WinNonlin/NLME, NONMEM or equivalent)
  • Experience in managing external service providers is an advantage
  • General digital literacy across generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT and CoPilot is preferred
