About the role
- Lead the national sales strategy and accelerate market growth for cardiometabolic care in Croatia.
- Execute national sales strategy aligned with the cardiometabolic business objectives to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team, ensuring high performance and continuous competency growth.
- Design and implement territory business plans to optimize sales opportunities and improve customer outcomes.
- Allocate resources and manage promotional budgets effectively to maximize impact and ROI.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance indicators, taking proactive actions to address gaps and seize opportunities.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with marketing, medical, and other business units to ensure seamless execution of brand plans and campaigns.
- Act as an ambassador for Novo Nordisk, upholding ethical standards and company values in all stakeholder interactions.
Requirements
- University degree, preferably in natural sciences or healthcare.
- Solid understanding of the local pharmaceutical market and industry dynamics.
- At least 2 years of experience in the obesity therapeutic area, with strong product and disease knowledge, is preferred but not required.
- Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills, including the ability to develop innovative business solutions.
- Proven sales management potential combined with strong team building and leadership capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, networking, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Croatian.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, adapt to change, and break new market ground with agility.
