About the role
- Lead strategic activities for Aseptic Production and related Environmental Monitoring processes to ensure all business, regulatory & customer requirements are met in accordance with the Novo Nordisk Way.
- Set direction by developing short & long-term objectives to drive customer & stakeholder value
- Ensure robust processes are in place to exceed all quality objectives, specifications & requirements
- Allocate resources: Provide strategic control of resource planning
- Act as process advocate to overcome barriers
- Manage Performance of direct reports
- Drive long term process improvement strategies & perform process confirmation of standards
- Drive standardization & collaboration across shift teams & departments
- Manage policy development & deployment
- Act as a productive member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
- Responsible for Environmental Monitoring process (EM), to include ensuring effective investigations & corrective & preventative actions
- Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or business from an accredited university required
- Master’s degree in science, engineering, or business from an accredited university preferred
- Minimum of ten (10) years of leadership (direct or indirect) experience required
- Minimum of five (5) years managing other managers’ experience required, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry required, preferably with experience in aseptic production processes, devices & combination products
- In-depth knowledge of aseptic manufacturing to include environmental monitoring required
