About the role
- Drive Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) projects to deliver on our value proposition, market access, and scientific exchange strategies for assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Contribute to the HEOR team by securing timely Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions, with optimal market access and pricing conditions.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Public Affairs, Pricing, Medical, and Commercial departments.
- Work with the HEOR team to develop and maintain partnerships with external stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Identify evidence gaps and design and conduct observational studies to generate optimal real-world data that supports pricing, access, and HTA requirements.
- Communicate HTA strategies, outcomes, and implications to Senior Management, and contribute to execution of negotiation and access plans.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in health economics or closely related field (economics, epidemiology, or degrees with a quantitative and/or health care focus) is required.
- 3-5 years of pharmaceuticals or healthcare-related industry/organization/consulting experience within the field of HEOR or RWE is preferred.
- Experience in health economic modelling (Excel, VBA, R) is preferred.
- Experience in health technology assessments (HTA) and payer negotiations is preferred.
- Business-level English is required, with Japanese as an advantage.
- Experience in Japan, or APAC is an advantage.
