About the role
- Collaborate with the Customer Engagement team to assess complex datasets
- Develop predictive models and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Clean, process, and analyse large datasets
- Assist in the design, training, and evaluation of machine learning models
- Create and refine features to enhance model performance
- Develop visualisations and dashboards for diverse audiences
- Support end-to-end data science project workflows
- Stay updated on trends, research, and best practices in data science and machine learning
- Maintain thorough documentation of code, methodologies, and outcomes
- Build interactive web applications for data visualization
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Proficient in Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and/or R
- Practical experience using SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Strong foundation in statistics, probability, experimental design, and common machine learning algorithms
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, self-motivated
- Able to work independently or collaboratively
