About the role

  • Collaborate with the Customer Engagement team to assess complex datasets
  • Develop predictive models and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Clean, process, and analyse large datasets
  • Assist in the design, training, and evaluation of machine learning models
  • Create and refine features to enhance model performance
  • Develop visualisations and dashboards for diverse audiences
  • Support end-to-end data science project workflows
  • Stay updated on trends, research, and best practices in data science and machine learning
  • Maintain thorough documentation of code, methodologies, and outcomes
  • Build interactive web applications for data visualization

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Proficient in Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and/or R
  • Practical experience using SQL for data querying and manipulation
  • Strong foundation in statistics, probability, experimental design, and common machine learning algorithms
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, self-motivated
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively
