About the role
- Facilitate the in-field execution of the Medical Affairs strategy
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans for our products in collaboration with other cross-functional teams
- Elevate the voice of the field-medical team to integrate insights in the strategy and Medical plans
- Manage, coordinate and execute the Regional Medical Plan with assigned Health Care Professionals
- Foster effective collaboration between the field medical team and sales teams
- Empower each team member to effectively translate business priorities into operational plans and actions
- Build and optimize effective relationships with HCPs & KOLs
- Act as a role model and develop team through Novo Nordisk Way principles
- Implement continuous dialogues with the team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences
- Solid experience in the Medical Affairs function within a pharmaceutical company, ideally with experience in roles close to the medical field force.
- Previous people management experience is required for this role, as well as strong experience driving cross-functional projects and initiatives with demonstrated success in the collaboration and functional leadership.
- Knowledge or experience in the cardiometabolic arena will be an advantage.
- Excellent communications skills in Spanish and English.
- Availability to travel
- Strong leadership and collaborative skills are needed. You thrive in fast-paced environment being able to manage competing priorities and make decisions autonomously.
- Candidates should also excel in stakeholder management at very different levels.
