About the role
- Shape how Novo Nordisk Egypt tells its story — lead integrated communications with a robust focus on media and digital channels (including social media), and sustainability initiatives.
- Plan, produce and execute integrated communication initiatives across internal and external channels to support corporate and divisional goals.
- Develop and implement proactive media relations and dynamic social media strategies.
- Lead digital content and campaign execution across all local social media channels.
- Translate business priorities into integrated communications plans.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key media outlets, digital agencies, and patient advocacy groups (PAGs).
- Lead issue and crisis communication planning: prepare issues management plans, reactive statements, messaging platforms and media responses.
- Design and deliver internal communications to inform and engage employees.
Requirements
- University degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in communications within the private sector, ideally in FMCG or related industries.
- Demonstrated experience in communications planning, media relations, and social media/digital campaign management with a proven track record of successful campaign execution in fast-paced markets.
- Strong editorial skills and experience producing communication across channels (press, digital campaigns, print, social, audio and video).
- Proven ability to manage issues and crisis communications, and to prepare clear reactive messaging.
- Experience in internal communications and employee engagement programs.
- Experience or strong interest in sustainability communications and stakeholder partnership building.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder management and the ability to work cross‑functionally.
