About the role

  • Shape Novo Nordisk’s external presence and stakeholder relationships in Azerbaijan
  • Oversee corporate communications, media relations, stakeholder engagement and end-user activation initiatives
  • Lead development and execution of corporate communications strategies
  • Manage media relations and external content including press releases and social media messaging
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders
  • Oversee customer awareness and end-user activation campaigns to ensure measurable impact
  • Coordinate issue management and crisis communications efforts

Requirements

  • Established and extensive network across local media, policymakers, opinion leaders and influencers
  • Proven experience in running customer awareness campaigns with end-users, preferably within pharma, dermocosmetics, FMCG or telecom
  • Hands-on experience designing and executing closed-loop activation campaigns
  • Strong English language skills to collaborate internationally and adopt best practices
  • Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience in managing external agencies and budgets
  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Marketing or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Master’s degree in relevant field is preferred
  • International experience or exposure to multi-market campaigns
  • Understanding of regulated environments and compliance frameworks
  • Fluent communication in either of these three languages: Azerbaijani, Russian, Turkish
