About the role
- Combine proficiency in modelling and simulation within pharmacology
- Collaborate and communicate with subject matter experts
- Define objectives and select species/models for PK/PD work
- Coordinate study requirements with internal teams and CROs
- Conduct PKPD modelling on research compounds
- Simulate human PKPD based on animal and in vitro data
- Prepare study protocols, technical reports, and contribute to regulatory submissions
Requirements
- Ph.D. in physics, math, engineering, or related disciplines
- 5+ years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Excellent understanding of pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PKPD) theory and modelling
- Outstanding ability to identify challenges and develop strategies
- Experience in modelling biological processes
- Extensive expertise with PK/PD modelling software (Phoenix WinNonlin, NONMEM, Monolix), R, Python
- Experience managing external service providers
- Disease area expertise preferable within diabetes and/or obesity
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
